Did you know there is an Invisalign^® treatment made just for kids? It’s called Invisalign^® First – and it can make all the difference in your child’s smile. Early interventive treatment like Invisalign^® First can save you time and money on complex treatments in your child’s teenage years.

What is Invisalign^® First?

Invisalign^® First is a special Invisalign^® treatment for children aged 6-10 that uses custom clear plastic aligners to gently direct jaw growth and support proper tooth alignment. Invisalign^® First doesn't include metal brackets or wires which makes it gentle for our young patients.

Invisalign^® clear aligners blend seamlessly into your child’s life. They are designed to be removable, giving your child the freedom to eat and drink without restrictions by simply taking them out. They can also maintain their oral hygiene effortlessly during treatment.

*Invisalign^® aligners are a registered medical device, you should always read and follow the label as well as the instructions of your treating orthodontist.

How does Invisalign^® First work?

During your child’s consultation, we will use our 3D scanner to plan their custom treatment from start to finish. An accurate digital model of their smile will be created, and we will use this model to design a series of custom aligners for them.

Under the guidance of our Specialist Orthodontist, your child will transition to a new set of aligners every couple weeks from the comfort of home. Each custom aligner is uniquely shaped to progressively guide your child's smile into proper alignment.

Does my child need early orthodontic treatment?

While not all children need early orthodontic treatment, it can be highly beneficial for those who do! Addressing orthodontic issues early can potentially save both time and money on treatment during your child’s teenage years—or even prevent the need for future treatment entirely.

We suggest scheduling an orthodontic assessment with our team when your child is around 7 years old. This allows our Specialist Orthodontists to evaluate your child’s dental health and recommend timely intervention if necessary.
