Metal braces are the tried-and-true orthodontic method. Today, braces are more comfortable, more discreet, and more efficient than ever before.

How do braces work?

Braces consist of small metal brackets attached to the front of each tooth, connected by a metal archwire that runs through them. Small elastics are used to hold everything in place and facilitate tooth movement.

To progress through treatment, you’ll visit us for regular adjustment appointments where your Specialist Orthodontist will make small bends in your archwires. This will place gentle pressure on your teeth that will slowly guide them into proper alignment.
